stitched paper quilts

... variations of my Quilted Icons, done as prints on paper. The center motif and side wings begin as pieced fabric panels to which collage materials, fused elements and embellishments are added. The three sections are then ink jet printed to create the paper versions, which are layered and stitched together to resemble altars and icons. Some are embellished with beads and ribbons after printing.

The stitched prints are approximately 14" square [+ or -], temporarily mounted on 15" x 15" white foam core and wrapped to keep them protected until you're ready to frame them.
